Database Administrator Overview

Susquehanna International Group is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability and scalability of our enterprise database platform. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to leverage your existing knowledge of relational databases to drive business growth and success.

This role involves designing, installing, configuring, and updating hundreds of database instances, as well as optimizing current and future instances to meet evolving business needs. You will work closely with fellow database administrators, development teams, and engineering teams to share ideas and recommendations for solutions that increase and expand enterprise database capabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong relational database background, excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills, and thorough understanding of Linux operating systems and shell scripting. Experience with enterprise monitoring tools, high availability architectures, and cloud computing is highly desirable.
