Retail Sales Associate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Ballina, Co. Mayo. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, meeting sales targets, and working closely with the warehouse and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist customers in selecting products and providing information on product features and benefits.
  2. Sell to both retail and trade customers, ensuring that all sales are processed efficiently and effectively.
  3. Prepare quotations and negotiate prices to meet customer requirements.
  4. Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure seamless inventory management and supply chain operations.
  5. Utilize in-house software to manage sales, inventory, and customer data.
  6. Carry out additional duties as required to meet business objectives and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in retail sales or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Customer-focused approach, with a strong emphasis on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Highly motivated and innovative, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and cooperation.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
