The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Support Services Manager to provide light maintenance and general support services within Blackrock Hospice. This will involve assisting craft personnel, transporting waste, linen and equipment, and providing general support services to ensure the smooth operation of the hospice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out light maintenance tasks as required
  • Transport waste, linen and equipment as needed
  • Assist craft personnel with various tasks and projects

Requirements:

  • A full, clean and current driving license
  • Knowledge and experience of ordering, monitoring & changing out of medical gas cylinders
  • Relevant work experience in a healthcare setting within the last three years
  • Experience in dealing with all members of the multidisciplinary team
  • Flexibility regarding working hours
