Acute Hospital Occupational Therapist

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients in a dynamic acute hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments and provide targeted interventions to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans that cater to individual patient needs.
- Ensure seamless transitions between healthcare settings through active participation in discharge planning and liaison with relevant stakeholders.
- CORU Registration as an Occupational Therapist is mandatory.
- Proven experience working in an acute hospital or similar setting, with consideration given to placement experience.
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on medical, surgical, orthopaedics, or rehabilitation caseloads.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration within the multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
