Business Applications and Data Support Specialist

This role involves providing technical support for business applications and maintaining data integrity between various systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, and SharePoint.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Provide end user technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, Microsoft Business Central and SharePoint applications.
  • Customise views, tiles, ribbons, and profiles within Microsoft Business Central
  • Perform data validation and migration tasks to ensure data accuracy and integrity between applications
  • Update data across selected business systems under change management
  • Understand business applications from a business process perspective.
  • Document and maintain business application support procedures and best practices.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training programs and documentation for end-users on various applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other business users and IT team members to implement and maintain application solutions.
  • Work with business stakeholders and development partners to prioritise user stories and opportunities for business optimisation and improvements.
  • Assist business users during UAT preparation for upcoming releases.
  • Monitor business application usage and performance and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with data security and privacy policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in application and data support roles.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Business Central, and SharePoint.
  • Strong knowledge of data validation and migration processes.
  • Experience in providing training support on applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
