Director of Sales

The role of Director of Sales involves leading sales activities across various market segments, with a primary focus on business development within the leisure travel market. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive revenue growth and achieve overall business objectives.

  • Sales Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to align with business goals.
  • Leisure Segment Sales: Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and group organisers to increase room nights and overall revenue in the leisure segment.
  • MICE and Corporate Sales: Develop MICE opportunities by promoting luxury hospitality offerings and build relationships with corporate clients and conference organisers.
  • Departmental Management & Leadership: Support the Group Director of Sales in overseeing the daily management of the sales department, including monitoring sales activities and tracking performance metrics.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • 5+ years of sales experience in luxury hospitality, with a strong emphasis on leisure travel.
  • Demonstrated success managing consortia and high-end leisure accounts.
  • A strong network of relationships within the luxury travel industry.
