TTM healthcare is currently recruiting caregivers for Ireland's leading children's residential services based in Dublin 8, Dublin 22, Naas, Longford, Westmeath, Limerick and Clare. This is a full-time permanent contract working 39 hours per week.
Caregivers work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide care to service users who are referred to a residential setting due to family breakdown, separation, history of neglect, sexual or physical abuse, addiction, or mental health issues. The residential care aims to provide a therapeutic placement to these individuals who often present with emotional or behavioral difficulties and cannot live with their own families.
Job Description:- Provide daily care and support to residents, including helping with personal hygiene, meals, and activities.
- Work as part of a team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
- Assist residents with their daily routines, including getting them ready for school or work, and helping them with homework or job-related tasks.
- Encourage residents to participate in recreational activities and outings, promoting socialization and community integration.
- Be registered in the Social Care Workers Register maintained by the Social Care Workers Registration Board maintained by CORU.
- Hold a BA in Social Care or have equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
- Be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
