Key Role in Food Safety and Compliance

As a critical member of our quality team, we are seeking a Deputy Quality Manager to join us in the Midlands. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing our Food Safety and Quality Management Systems on-site.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Quality Manager in leading the implementation and maintenance of our Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of QA Technicians, focusing on their growth and development.
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, BRCGS, and retailer standards through regular audits and training sessions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, R&D, and engineering teams to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a food manufacturing quality role, preferably in a leadership position.
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, and retailer standards, with the ability to apply them effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven leadership and internal audit skills, with a track record of driving business improvement and excellence.
