Deputy Quality Manager Job

We are seeking a skilled Deputy Quality Manager to support the development and maintenance of our Food Safety and Quality Management systems.

About This Role:

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to gain experience in quality management, leading and maintaining processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the oversight and implementation of our Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS), including HACCP and GMP.
  • Serve as a key contact for audits and inspections, ensuring seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the Quality Team in the absence of the Quality Manager, ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
  • Conduct internal audits and investigate non-conformances, customer complaints, and product issues.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
  • Well-organized with good time management and multitasking abilities.
Professional Requirements:
  • Degree qualification in Food Science or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a quality role within the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of HACCP, food safety legislation, and GFSI schemes (BRCGS).
