Quality Technical Lead Job Description

The Quality Technical Lead is a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects and programmes within our infrastructure delivery directorate. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive quality management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Quality Management Processes: Ensure effective quality control and assurance activities on construction sites to mitigate risks and deliver projects efficiently.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with internal teams, including Asset Management and Sustainability, COO - Asset Operations, Business Services - Supply Chain, and People & Safety - HSQE Quality team, to promote health and safety commitments and reinforce positive behaviours.
  • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to drive quality improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Ensure Compliance: Monitor compliance with safety regulations, codes of practice, and specifications to ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Communicate Effectively: Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on quality best practices, programme changes, and construction progress.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Qualifications: A relevant third-level qualification or accreditation is desirable.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in the water, utilities, or similar industries is desirable.
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively, and proven track record of dealing with complex issues.
