Location: Arklow Primary Care Centre
Shift pattern: Day shift
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: 6-12 months

Responsibilities:
- Conducting holistic assessments to understand a person's circumstances and strengths
- Offering counselling, crisis intervention, and practical assistance
- Representing clients' interests and helping them access housing, healthcare, legal aid, or financial support
- Responding to concerns around child protection, elder abuse, or vulnerable adults
- Working with healthcare professionals, educators, legal services, and community organisations
- Prioritising and managing a diverse workload
- Maintaining accurate, confidential records in line with legal and ethical standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work OR Bachelor in Social Studies
- CORU Registration is mandatory
- Full driver's license and access to own car desired
- Must be a resident in Ireland and have the legal right to work in Ireland without restriction
- Willing to undergo Garda Vetting
- International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16)
