Job Opportunity:

Hovione seeks a Senior Manager to spearhead Health, Safety, and Environmental Management initiatives.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive HSE programs and procedures to ensure employee and community protection.
  • Conduct thorough incident investigations and risk assessments.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of regulatory and organizational requirements and standards.
  • Define strategic plans for the areas under responsibility and propose action plans for implementation.
  • Advise top management on HSE matters.
  • Set performance targets and oversee their delivery.
  • Guarantee effective HSE procedure implementation and ensure updates in line with legislative changes, regulation, and company directives.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field, along with professional certifications in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Legislation. They should have at least 10 years of relevant experience in HSE within a manufacturing environment, with proven leadership experience in project contexts.

They will require advanced knowledge of HSE principles and practices, as well as broad-based understanding of operations within a chemical/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
