Job Title: Director of Technical Operations Management

This role will play a pivotal part in ensuring the complete integrity of our commercial supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in high-volume pharmaceutical packaging engineering and must be able to lead technical collaborations with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop strategic partnerships with internal and external teams to provide expert technical guidance and leadership on packaging solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors to select suitable technologies for drug product and packaging CMOs, providing crucial input on technology transfers.
  • Drive the implementation of new technology or upgrade projects at external CMO packaging sites, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Contribute expert knowledge to primary and secondary packaging development and shipping studies, enhancing overall product quality.
  • Provide oversight at CMOs for Packaging Engineering trials, guaranteeing compliance and efficiency.
  • Maintain control over design processes for commercial devices' secondary packaging.
  • Evaluate manufacturing operations conducted by CMOs, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, combined with substantial drug product and packaging engineering experience.
  • Background in cGMP environments, demonstrating strict adherence to change control and risk assessment protocols.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective resolutions.
  • In-depth understanding of primary and secondary packaging principles for pharmaceutical products, driving innovation and excellence.
