Job Opportunity: Welder/Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder/Fitter to join our team of mechanical professionals. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and delivering new installations/capital replacement across various sites in Ireland.

  • Maintain engineering areas to good house-keeping standards
  • Complete tasks in accordance with site policies and procedures
  • Ensure all executed maintenance activities are recorded on the CMMS
  • Travel within Ireland as required

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical capability, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. A proven track record of working safely in accordance with site safety policies and relevant legislation is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified to QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – welder/fitter
  • Good communication skills, teamwork abilities, and initiative
  • Proven ability to work well as part of a team & on own with minimum supervision
  • Strong technical capability with attention to detail in reading drawings, templates, schematics and other drawings to correctly lay out pieces
  • Certified to weld in MIG/TIG/ARC and GAS
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an industrial environment
