We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Piping Systems Engineer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will design, develop and oversee the installation of piping systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.

Piping Design and Fabrication:
  • Develop plans for piping projects, including creating piping layout drawings and diagrams.
  • Specify pipe types, sizes and layouts required for projects, ensuring safety regulations and quality standards compliance.
  • Oversee pipe system fabrication, assembly and installation, conducting tests to ensure functionality and safety.
Project Management:
  • Lead the team in developing technical descriptions, drawings, complex piping plans and layouts, piping isometric sketches and electronic models.
  • Collaborate with design teams to integrate piping systems into overall project designs.
  • Maintain clear documentation of all fabrication processes and designs, providing technical support and guidance during installation.
Client Interaction:
  • Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements and provide technical expertise.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns and ensure satisfaction with project outcomes.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all piping systems comply with industry standards, safety regulations and quality assurance protocols.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures, conducting inspections and tests to verify system integrity and performance.
Qualifications and Skills:Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design and fabrication engineering.
  • Proven track record of leading projects and teams.
Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, Revit and AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
  • Strong understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and ability to interpret complex technical drawings.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to piping fabrication and installation.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities – capable of guiding a CAD team.
  • Effective problem-solving skills – keen attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.
