Job Title: Lead Mechanical Engineer - Piping and Fabrication

  • We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead our CAD team in piping design and fabrication.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Piping Design and Fabrication:
    • - Plan and implement piping projects, including creating and interpreting piping layout drawings.
    • - Specify the type, size, and layout of pipes required for projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
    • - Oversee the fabrication, assembly, and installation of pipe systems, conducting tests to ensure functionality and safety.
  • Project Management:
    • - Lead and coordinate the CAD team in developing technical descriptions and drawings.
    • - Collaborate with design teams to ensure the effective integration of piping systems into overall project designs.
    • - Maintain clear documentation of all fabrication processes and designs.
  • Client Interaction:
    • - Participate in client meetings to understand project requirements.
    • - Communicate effectively with clients to address concerns.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance:
    • - Ensure all piping systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
    • - Develop and implement quality control procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in piping design and fabrication engineering.
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor, Revit, and AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
    • Strong understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
