Piping Designer/BIM Engineer Job

Overview:

NIRAS Ireland is seeking a motivated and experienced Piping Designer/BIM Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing piping systems for medium to large-scale projects across various industries.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in piping design, preferably in the pharmaceutical, food, or beverage sectors. They should possess strong knowledge of current piping codes and standards, as well as proficiency in Revit, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and other relevant software.

The selected individual will work on multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs from Basis of Design to construction stage. Responsibilities include reviewing vendor drawings, producing equipment layouts and models, creating 3D point cloud scans, and conducting clash checks.

To succeed in this position, the candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team, and possess keen attention to detail.

Required Skills:
