Department Head

This is a senior role within the textile department, responsible for overseeing daily operations and driving sales growth.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and meet customer demands.
  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver exceptional customer service, merchandising standards, and visual display guidelines.
  • Monitor sales data, stock levels, and trading patterns to inform business decisions and drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and ensure optimal product presentation to drive sales.
  • Role model excellent customer service and lead by example in delivering the 'Dunnes Stores Experience' customer service programme.
  • Implement and maintain department brand standards within agreed operating frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and trading standards.
  • Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Drive online sales through effective use of digital channels and platforms.
