Opportunity to Develop Spray Painting Skills

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced spray painter to join our well-regarded company and build upon their career as a skilled trade professional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing vehicles for paintwork by ensuring they are free from dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
  • Masking vehicles in preparation for paintwork by applying protective coverings to areas not requiring paint.
  • Removing existing paint and corrosion by using the appropriate techniques and tools.
  • Polishing to remove defects from vehicle paintwork by using a range of polishing compounds and techniques.
  • Mixing the correct paint to apply to vehicles by following established recipes and guidelines.
  • Applying paint products correctly and to a high standard by using the appropriate equipment and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a spray painter in a body shop or accident repair environment.
  • Understanding of the vehicle refurbishment process, including the use of safety protocols and regulations.
  • Proven previous experience in a similar role, demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Team player with excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
