Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Required

Our organization is seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team. As an HGV Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as an HGV Mechanic or similar role, with a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in heavy goods vehicles. Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in vehicle maintenance and repair are also essential.

  • Conducting routine maintenance and servicing of HGVs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults on heavy goods vehicles
  • Performing pre-MOT inspections and vehicle testing
  • Maintaining accurate records of work carried out and parts used
