Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks including diagnosing and repairing faults in commercial vehicles, maintaining high standards of workshop housekeeping, and ensuring accurate completion and filing of all required paperwork.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repair and servicing of trucks, trailers, and tankers as required.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment.

  • Complete and file all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.

  • Operate machinery and equipment safely and within authorized limits.

  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and adhere to manufacturer specifications.

  • Comply with company safety policies and procedures.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

  • Report any quality or safety concerns to management.
