Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Financial Lines Expert to join our team in Dublin. As a key member of our Financial Lines claims team, you will be responsible for managing complex claims and developing effective case strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze claims, identifying potential issues and developing effective solutions.
  • Develop and implement case strategies, working closely with Claim Managers and Practice Leaders to achieve optimal file outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring exceptional customer service and effective communication.
  • Work with management and Claims Litigation teams to identify and select appropriate counsel or alternative resolution techniques.
  • Proactively manage expenses and claims best practices, partnering with internal and external counsel to set and pursue effective litigation strategies.
  • Assist Underwriters with policy review and drafting initiatives, participate in external marketing and business development activities, and share lessons learned to improve risk assessment and underwriting processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required; ACII qualification desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of Financial Lines claims experience, with recognized knowledge and abilities.
  • Casualty claims handling experience an advantage.
  • Excellent industry knowledge and a strong reputation in the market.
  • Well-developed negotiation skills, good communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to think creatively.
  • Extensive experience of the Irish legal system in the context of claims handling.
  • Eagerness to learn, develop, and grow within a professional claims team.
