Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections, maintenance and repairs on various types of boilers to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems such as pumps, motors and HVAC equipment.
  • Identify, troubleshoot and rectify issues related to boiler and mechanical system malfunctions.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while conducting maintenance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. A minimum of 5 years' experience post apprenticeship as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, demonstrating expertise in boiler maintenance within industrial or commercial environments.
  2. In-depth understanding of diverse boiler systems, their components and mechanical equipment.
  3. Strong background in maintaining various mechanical systems.
  4. Ability to execute maintenance tasks following safety guidelines and manufacturer specifications.
  5. Proficiency in interpreting technical manuals, drawings and schematics relevant to boilers and other mechanical systems.
  6. Comprehensive knowledge of safety protocols and regulations related to boiler maintenance.
  7. Vocational training, certifications or coursework specialising in boiler maintenance or broader mechanical systems.
  8. Experience working with different types of boilers and familiarity with diverse boiler technologies.
