Role Information:

Job Title: Boiler Maintenance Technician

Location: Dublin, Ireland.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with their hands and are passionate about ensuring the smooth operation of commercial, hospital, and healthcare facilities.

The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills and proven experience in all aspects of Gas Boilers, HVAC Units, other gas related and plumbing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance on Commercial, Hospital, Healthcare Sites.
  • Ensure that the work complies with site safety protocols and quality control standards.
  • Comply with all EHSQ policies and procedures as required.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, promoting Tritech as an employer of choice.
  • Liaise with the service desk and respond to all non-technical and technical queries in a timely manner to ensure conformance with the relevant Service Level Agreement.
  • Maintain an internal 'Best Practice' regime and encourage continuous improvements.
  • Provide cover to sites for out of hours situations on a rotational basis.
  • Ability to work within set time scales.

Requirements:

Relevant trade qualification and/or third level qualification essential. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role is also necessary.

Strong Boiler fault finding is a must.

A RGII Licence / Safepass and OFTEC Certification are advantageous but not necessary.

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and within strict deadlines.

Good knowledge of HVAC plant and controls is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also essential.

A Full Driver's Licence is mandatory.

Plumbing & heating experience is a prerequisite for this role.
