Job Role: Pediatric Nutrition Specialist

This exciting position offers the opportunity to work with children (0-18 years) who have complex needs arising from disability, while collaborating closely with families and colleagues.

The job holder will be responsible for providing a specialist nutrition and dietetic service to children and young people with a range of disabilities. This includes supporting feeding, eating, drinking and swallowing (FEDS) needs, ensuring nutritional well-being, and empowering families through education and guidance.

You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team that includes Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, and Social Workers, delivering a holistic service that promotes children's development, health, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

• To provide specialist nutrition advice to children and young people with disabilities
• To develop and implement individualized nutrition plans for each child or young person
• To work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• To educate and support families in caring for their child's nutritional needs
• To participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to the development of care plans
