Renewable Energy Projects Manager

Are you looking for a challenging role that will allow you to develop and lead key renewable and flexible technology projects? As an Offshore FlexTech Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team in the Commercial function ensuring the successful development of these projects.
The Offshore and FlexTech Manager will oversee the development strategy and contract negotiation for the projects, manage joint venture activities and relationships, ensure governance and reporting requirements are met, and help deliver on the organisation's strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- Drive the commercial development of the Offshore and FlexTech projects in our pipeline ensuring robust and comprehensive programmes for delivery.
- Oversee participation in route to market auctions/tenders and ensure comprehensive bid preparation programmes and governance requirements are met.
- Manage contractual negotiations to ensure optimum outcomes for the business and ensure timely completion and execution of contracts and agreements to meet the company's strategy and objectives.
- Monitor development and capital expenditure against budgets and forecasts, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely identification of variances.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Third-level degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years' experience in energy or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven track record managing large-scale projects and taking project/process ownership.
- Strong technical understanding of electricity transmission grid planning, development, and operation.
- Familiarity with regulatory, grid, and planning frameworks relevant to energy infrastructure in Ireland.
