Job Title: Microbiologist for Biotech Facility

We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist to join our team at a leading biotech facility in Dublin. As a QC Microbiology Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective design, construction, qualification, and operation of our new strategic Biotech Drug Substance facility.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying the Microbiology Quality Control lab and transferring microbiological analytical methods, including cutting-edge Rapid Microbiological Methods. You will also be involved in the layout of the lab testing flow to ensure it is streamlined and aligned with lean principles.

You will have responsibilities in analytical transfer and qualification of methods, as well as supporting other analysts within the lab area, including training and guidance on your area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Qualify the Microbiology Quality Control lab and transfer microbiological analytical methods.
  • Lay out the lab testing flow to ensure it is streamlined and aligned with lean principles.
  • Support other analysts within the lab area, including training and guidance on your area of expertise.
  • Analytical transfer and qualification of methods.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and GLP within the laboratory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field.
  • 1-2 years' relevant experience in analytical microbiology in a GMP setting.
  • Knowledge of cGMP and pharmacopeial methods.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
