Leading-edge semiconductor company is seeking a Senior Digital Design Engineer for a role in Cork City, Ireland.

The ideal candidate will work on the SerDes PHY team based at our R&D center of excellence.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Design high-speed SERDES products at data rates up to 112 Gbps on leading edge technology nodes.
  2. Participate in the architecture and implementation of high-speed communication protocols.
  3. Develop digital IC circuit blocks from concept to verification.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams ranging from architecture to physical design and test chip development.
  5. Work with technical team leads in digital design, verification, and SERDES architectures.
  6. Communicate effectively with global teams across different time zones.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in CMOS SERDES or high-speed I/O IC design and development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
