
Senior Service Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our team of engineers and deliver exceptional customer service.
As a Senior Service Coordinator, you will oversee resource allocation to meet customer needs efficiently while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assess and respond to customer requests, prioritizing their needs and identifying actions to take place with agreed timelines.
- Allocate the most suitable resources to address customers' needs.
- Plan jobs to maximize engineer productivity, manage job progress at every stage, and liaise to ensure the job is resolved to mutual benefit.
- Open and close work orders accurately and consistently to optimize billing efficiency.
- Directly manage engineers (4-8), providing guidance, addressing performance issues, and conducting regular one-on-one sessions.
- Ensure adherence to service processes and procedures to maintain consistent exceptional customer service delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Customer service skills and ability to develop strong customer relationships.
- Planning and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Influencing and negotiation skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Desirable Knowledge:
- Advanced level of engineering aptitude.
- Familiarity with gas and diesel engine products.
- Knowledge of mobile and fixed equipment components and systems.
- Awareness of existing applications and systems beneficial for efficient operations.
Education and Experience:
- Foundational engineering understanding and qualification.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a technical or mechanical engineering role.
- Previous experience in a similar position within a comparable industry environment advantageous.
Flexible Working Arrangement:
The role requires flexibility between 7am and 6pm weekdays, with potential for Saturday work if needed.
Work Environment:
The role is office-based, and we believe that our people are essential to our success.
