We are seeking a skilled Environmental Management Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, on-site position based at Platin, County Meath.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will involve working closely with our ECoW and Principle Contractor to ensure that environmental requirements are met throughout the project. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on mitigation requirements, managing waste transfer data and biodiversity net gain reports, and contributing to the Safety Incentive Scheme.

  • Provide site presence to ensure environmental requirements are met
  • Work closely with the ECoW to advise on mitigation requirements
  • Manage all waste transfer data or notes, consignment notes and biodiversity net gain reports
  • Complete a weekly environmental report
  • Carry out Environmental Audits
  • Develop and carry out Environmental Toolbox Talks with the workforce
  • Contribute to the Safety Incentive Scheme
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Suitable environmental qualifications such as IEMA, NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate or similar
  • Be suitably qualified in a relevant environmentally based discipline
  • Highly experienced in working on large construction projects
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience for an Environmental Manager
  • NEBOSH or equivalent in Health and Safety
  • Strong working knowledge of Irish health and safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication and training skills
