About the Role

Sigmar Recruitment is partnering with a well-established company in North Dublin to find a highly skilled Financial Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably from a similar industry or practice.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and presenting accurate financial and management information reports. This will include the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, VAT returns, and assistance with tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with tax compliance, including VAT returns and payroll taxes
  • Reconcile bank accounts daily and manage cash flow effectively
  • Process payroll for all staff accurately
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with all payroll-related regulations

Requirements

  • A qualified accountant with 2 years or more PQE
  • Strong accounts preparation and Excel skills
  • Experience from utilities or a similar industry is preferred
