Job Title: Logistics Coordinator
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly organized and skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing transport movements, interacting with customers, and ensuring the smooth delivery of goods.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the movement of goods from pickup to delivery, ensuring accurate scheduling and timely communication with clients.
- Assign vehicles and trailers to transport movements, communicating instructions to drivers and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Manage Proof of Delivery documentation, administer job pricing, and maintain clear communication with clients regarding logistics matters.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Transport Planning or Administration role.
- Familiarity with driver hours, breaks, and loading limits.
- Basic knowledge of customs procedures between the UK and Ireland is an advantage.
- Strong IT literacy and proficiency in spoken and written English (second language acceptable).
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing transport operations.
