We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Professional to join our team. With over three decades of experience, this well-established practice offers top-notch chartered accountancy services to its extensive client base.

Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with the team, delivering a wide range of accounting services to clients, including:

  • Operational Supervision: The selected individual will oversee assignments with a specific focus on audit, resourced from a combined pool of staff to achieve client satisfaction and targeted operational deliverables.
  • Client Relationship Management: They will manage the firm's relationship with clients, including service delivery and coordination of service offerings from other departments.
  • Training and Development: Involvement in training student trainees is also required.
  • Reporting: Preparation and presentation of reports to clients and partners on request.
  • Financial Statements: Preparation and completion of audit/audit-exempt financial statements.
  • Tax Returns: Preparation of tax returns.
  • Budgets and Projections: Preparation of budgets and cash flow projections.
  • Client Inquiries: Dealing with miscellaneous inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue etc., and also Revenue audits.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate all issues on assignments to arrive at a solution or proposal.
  • Assignment Completion: Ensure completion of assignments within the appropriate timeframe.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of general accounting practice experience.
  • An in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards.
  • Currently working as a senior in a practice environment.
  • Experience in operational supervision of assignments and managing client relationships.
  • Some tax experience is desirable.
