Job Title: Senior Tax Professional

This is an exciting career opportunity to join our dynamic finance team as a highly skilled and experienced tax professional. We are seeking a qualified individual to work closely with our team, delivering top-notch chartered accountancy services to our clients.


About the Role:
  • We are looking for a senior tax professional with 3+ years of general tax/accounting practice experience.
  • The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of Accounting and Tax Standards.
  • Candidates should be currently working as a senior in a practice/tax consultancy environment.
  • A CTA qualification or part-qualified status is desirable.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Reviewing work and other assignments prepared by junior colleagues.
  • Liaising with clients and advising on all relevant tax issues.
  • Dealing with restructuring and retirement planning.
  • Researching and resolving technical issues throughout the compliance process.
  • Staying up-to-date with relevant changes within the tax sector.
  • Liaising with partners, managers, and other professionals within the firm.
  • Assisting colleagues with tax queries relating to mutual clients.
  • Developing expertise in Tax and specifically Corporation Tax, Payroll Advice, and Revenue Audit.
  • Acting as a key member on a wide range of assignments including tax advisory and tax planning projects.
  • Assisting with specific consultancy assignments in all areas of tax, including Corporation Tax, Income Tax, CGT, CAT, and VAT.
  • Preparation of consultancy assignment reports.
  • Liaising with Revenue on clients' behalf and assisting with Revenue queries.
  • Managing and developing more junior staff.
  • Meeting potential new clients.
  • Assisting partners with devising marketing strategies.
