Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health and Safety Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Environmental Health and Safety team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our employees and the public.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement occupational health and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
- Conduct workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and take corrective action
- Investigate incidents to determine root causes and implement measures to prevent recurrence
- Provide technical guidance to employees on occupational health and safety matters
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:
- Technical Bachelor Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or Technical Bachelor's Degree (Science/Engineering)
- Post-grad EHS qualification would be a plus
- At least 3 years of experience in occupational health and safety in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:
- This position involves working in an office environment with occasional travel to worksites
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time
