Electrical Plant Maintenance Specialist

The role of an Electrical Instrumentation & Controls Team Member is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance of generating plant and equipment at Dublin Stations.
This position requires hands-on planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities, as well as fault finding, testing and repairs in a power generation work environment.
The team member will work with various electrical equipment and control instrumentation, performing installation, troubleshooting, repair and commissioning of plant equipment.
Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the CMMS is also a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform hands-on planned and reactive electrical maintenance activities according to site policies and procedures.
- Carry out all aspects of hands-on electrical fault finding, testing and repairs in a power generation work environment.
- Installation, troubleshooting, repair and commissioning of plant equipment.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS.
- Prepare and review task specific Method statements and Risk Assessments.
- Carry out authorized roles under the safety rules as required (Safe Systems of Work).
The successful candidate will possess a Senior Trade electrical craft qualification or equivalent.
They will be self-motivated and work effectively as part of a close team in a Generating Station environment, interacting with other station staff and contractors.
