About Our Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Senior VAT Professional to join our team. This role is ideal for a skilled individual who can deliver exceptional service in raising awareness of VAT and promoting good practice.

You'll have the opportunity to research client databases for opportunities, liaise with partners/managers to manage VAT issues, provide training on VAT matters as required, and manage the VAT team including work delegation and oversee junior staff training.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • CTA / ACA / ACCA qualification
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge of VAT issues
  • Practical experience in tax environments or HMRC backgrounds
  • Experience in delivering tax projects and managing teams
  • Initiative-taking skills, excellent communication, and commercial awareness
