About the Role:

Global healthcare organizations are constantly seeking innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency. As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement across all direct manufacturing and support functions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement site-wide initiatives to enhance Manufacturing Operating System (MOS) Tier Reviews, Sitewide 6S Program, and weekly Problem-Solving RCA Hub performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities for improvement across all direct manufacturing and support functions.
  • Leverage OpEx and Lean tools to execute improvement projects, problem-solving activities, and Kaizen events, ensuring timely delivery of site projects and programs.
  • Gain Green Belt certification and develop training programs for Yellow Belt, RCA, and 6S tools.
  • Elevate digital literacy by upskilling in Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
  • Act as a Change Agent, inspiring employees to engage with OpEx and apply lean techniques, tools, and philosophies.
  • Manage the site Project Management Office (PMO) to drive timely delivery of site projects and programs required to achieve business commitments.
  • Maintain PMO performance dashboard and coordinate reviews of PMO progress.
  • Collaborate with site project managers & CFTs to develop project plans, establish timelines, and use project management tools.
  • Monitor departmental and site KPIs and reporting, maintaining site visual boards (digital & physical).
  • Drive visual management and data understanding throughout the plant, assisting and mentoring other functions on site on data and digital analysis best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree desirable, preferably in a related Manufacturing/Engineering/Science or Quality discipline.
  • 2 years' relevant experience in an equivalent role, preferably in an OpEx, Continuous Improvement, or Manufacturing environment with experience in delivering continuous improvement.
  • Lean Six Sigma or other Process Improvement methodologies experience.
  • Power BI/Power Automate/Power App experience is an advantage.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
