Role Overview

The Philanthropy Officer will play a vital role in supporting life-changing projects across the globe by cultivating and stewarding strong partnerships with major donors, engaging new supporters, and driving income to support international development and humanitarian programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and develop new potential fundraising opportunities through individuals, corporate partnerships and foundations throughout the island of Ireland.
  • Drive a portfolio of donors through active networking, provide exceptional stewardship to existing major donors, and manage CRM systems to ensure accurate records of donor interaction.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Third-level qualification or proven relevant experience.
  • A minimum of three years' proven and relevant experience in relationship fundraising or similar.
  • Experience in office systems.
  • Marketing/sales experience is preferable.
