The Fundraising Function

Within our global division, the Fundraising function is responsible for securing income from public sources worldwide, increasing awareness and understanding of our organization, and engaging donors and supporters in our mission.

The Job - International Philanthropy Officer

This role plays a vital part in supporting life-changing projects globally. The successful candidate will be responsible for cultivating and stewarding strong partnerships with valued major donors, while also engaging new supporters who share our vision of a just and sustainable world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pro-actively identify and develop new potential fundraising opportunities through individuals, corporate partnerships and foundations worldwide
  • Drive portfolio of donors through active networking and provide exceptional stewardship to existing major donors
  • Manage CRM systems to ensure accurate records of donor interaction
  • Undertake and support prospect research and data analysis to engage prospective major donors, corporate partnerships and foundations
  • Develop high quality funding proposals, applications and reports for submission to prospects and donors
  • Manage direct marketing campaigns and help create impactful asks working with external agencies
  • Take a proactive approach to networking and cultivate new prospects through external outreach opportunities
  • Work with the team to deliver the events programme
  • Manage certain internal processes as required, such as donor advised funds and invoicing

This is a permanent contract based in Ireland with blended work from home/ office. The role will be offered on either a full-time or hybrid basis.
