Unlocking Global Justice

We are seeking an experienced Philanthropy Officer to drive income and engage donors in our mission to tackle poverty and injustice.

  • Play a key role in driving sustainable development and humanitarian programmes through effective fundraising strategies.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with major donors and identify new prospects for growth.

This is a permanent contract based in Maynooth, with opportunities for hybrid working. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing proactive fundraising plans to grow our network of philanthropic partners.
  • Managing exceptional stewardship to existing major donors, ensuring timely and personalized acknowledgment, recognition, and reporting on the impact of their contributions.
  • Working with overseas colleagues to develop high-quality funding proposals, applications, and reports for submission to prospects and donors.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, donor engagement, and relationship management.
  • Strong networking and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with major donors and stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
