We are seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Tax Officer to join our team.

Job Description

A key member of our leadership team, the Chief Tax Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of corporate tax strategy, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and identifying opportunities to minimize tax liability.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in tax law and experience working with multinational corporations. They will be able to analyze complex tax issues and provide solutions, as well as manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective tax strategies to minimize liability and ensure compliance.
  • Analyze financial data to identify tax savings opportunities and develop plans to capitalize on them.
  • Provide guidance to senior management on tax-related matters and represent the company in tax audits and inquiries.
  • Stay up to date with changes in tax legislation and regulations, and advise the company on any implications for its tax position.
Requirements
  • Professional tax qualification (e.g. AITI/CTA) and ideally accounting qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • PQE tax experience with a Big 4 or Top 10 public accounting firm and/or multinational corporation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
