Executive Chef Opportunity in Kilkenny

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Chef to join our kitchen team at a busy hotel in Kilkenny. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to hotel standards, consistently delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.

  • Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver consistent service, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

  • Ensure all food is prepared in line with HACCP and food safety standards, upholding the highest levels of quality and hygiene.

  • Assist in menu planning, stock control and waste management, leveraging your expertise to optimize kitchen operations.

  • Maintain a clean, organized and safe kitchen environment, adhering to the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working as a Chef in a hotel or restaurant setting, preferably in a similar capacity.

  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and food hygiene procedures, with a proven track record of maintaining high standards.

  • Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team, remaining calm and composed even in challenging situations.

  • A genuine passion for food and delivering exceptional service, with a customer-focused approach.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required, adapting to changing business needs.
