Job Title: Senior Water Network Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage our water network team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water conservation and leakage detection, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the performance of the Leakage Detection team, ensuring health and safety compliance and efficient use of resources.
  • Oversee leakage detection operations, district metered areas integrity, data accuracy, and technology use.
  • Manage team budgets, approve purchases, and optimize cost-effective delivery of leakage reduction activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure effective planning, permitting, and reporting.
  • Prioritize and direct proactive and reactive leakage control activities, manage small projects, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Enforce safety procedures, provide necessary equipment, and ensure legal and procedural adherence.
  • Champion the use of enterprise systems, monitor network data, and ensure updates and analysis are completed accurately.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years' direct relevant experience in senior water network management or utility network management.
  • A relevant third-level qualification or accreditation is desirable.
  • Water Services Training Group Qualification is desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with a broad range of internal stakeholders and front-line employees.
  • Experience of line and performance management duties.
