Job Title: EHS Advisor

We are seeking an experienced and qualified professional to develop, monitor, and implement a comprehensive Environmental Health and Safety Management system.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Regulations at all times.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Implementing our Environmental Health and Safety policy, procedures, and management systems.
  • Providing advice, guidance, and instruction in all health & safety matters to management, safety representatives, and employees (including sub-contractors where appropriate).
  • Ensuring overall compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety statutory provisions & legislation.
  • Delivering Health & Safety training programs, such as inductions, for new employees or sub-contractors working on site.
  • Coordinating the review and development of task-specific EHS documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, safe plans of action, and permit-to-work.
  • Conducting regular inspections and site audits, reporting findings to site and senior management.
  • Ensuring that all incidents are reported, recorded, investigated, and lessons learned communicated.
  • Promoting a healthy and incident- and injury-free workplace.

Requirements:

  • Holding a relevant third-level qualification in Environmental, Health, and Safety.
  • At least 3 years' experience, preferably on large projects.
  • A full, clean driving license.
  • Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills.
  • The ability to work independently and exhibit strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships and manage stakeholders effectively.
