We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a positive difference in people's lives.

  • A Degree in Applied Social Studies or equivalent qualification or eligible for registration with the relevant authority, is required.
  • Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities is essential.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team, while supervising service users/staff in a residential setting, is crucial.
  • Good organisational and communication skills are also necessary.
  • A full manual driving license is required.

In this role, you will:

  • Evaluate and meet the needs of service users.
  • Teach daily living and social skills through engaging activities.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with service users.
  • Participate in household tasks and engage in activities that promote independence.
  • Record and maintain accurate documentation of service user information.
  • Perform other duties as required.
