Lead Bioprocess Instrumentation Specialist

Achieve excellence in a challenging role where you will be responsible for specifying instrumentation for biopharmaceutical process and utilities systems, supporting all aspects of the site calibration program, and evaluating new instrumentation for functional equivalence.

  • Evaluate and specify cGMP instrumentation for new installations and upgrades, including instrument components and spare parts.
  • Provide technical guidance to the calibration operations team and support regulatory body inspections and audits.
  • Implement corrective and preventative actions for existing instrumentation.
  • Work knowledge of process automation control systems is required.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex instrumentation and associated systems.
  • Create and maintain configuration specifications for cGMP manufacturing instrumentation.

To succeed in this position, you must possess logical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, have good written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and be able to effectively interact cross-functionally.

You should also have strong analytical and organizational skills. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience are required for this Senior Engineer level position. Experience with biopharmaceutical process and utilities systems is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of common process and utilities instrumentation, including load cells, pressure transmitters/gauges, pH sensors, and more.
  • Ability to evaluate and specify cGMP instrumentation for new installations and upgrades.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of experience.
