Building Information Modelling Technician

As a Building Information Modelling (BIM) Technician, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects. We are seeking an experienced professional to produce high-quality BIM models for mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop coordinated 2D and 3D BIM models to enhance project collaboration and efficiency.
  • Support clash detection processes and provide regular updates on design changes.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site teams to ensure accurate drawings and timely delivery.
  • Produce technical drawings for prefabrication and installation teams to streamline construction processes.
  • Maintain document control and register updates in line with company standards.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a BIM/CAD Technician role with a focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks, with a strong advantage if you have experience with these software tools.
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in building construction.
  • Ability to interpret and work with technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time management skills.
  • Relevant qualification in CAD Design, Engineering, or Construction Technology is desirable.
