We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Childrens Disability Network Team (CDNT) in Laois.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, providing high-quality care to children and young people with complex disabilities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing tailored interventions to support children's development and independence.
  • Working collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists in a team-based model of care.
  • SUPPORTING families and caregivers by offering guidance and strategies to enhance daily living skills.
  • Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans in line with best practices.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and contributing to service development initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and CORU registration.
  • Experience working with children and young people with disabilities (placement experience considered).
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to providing child- and family-centered care.
