A well-established business in Dublin 18 is looking for a skilled Financial Accountant to join their finance team. The company has an excellent reputation for providing a supportive working environment and opportunities for career growth.

Job Summary

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports and statements, reconciling intercompany, P&L and balance sheet nominal ledgers, and performing WIP reporting and revenue recognition on projects.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review financial reports and statements
  • Reconcile intercompany, P&L and balance sheet nominal ledgers
  • WIP reporting and revenue recognition on projects, close collaboration with Project Managers to ensure accuracy
  • RCT Subcontractor invoicing
  • Prepare and process payroll
  • Credit control and AR management
  • Support the finance team on quarterly forecasting
  • Assist with insurance renewals
  • Assist with VAT returns
  • Identify areas for process improvement in the finance function

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA) and industry-trained, however small-practice trained may also be considered. Strong excel skills are a must-have, and good knowledge of Debits and Credits is required.
